CHURCH TRIP TO HARDENBURG CASTLE
May 30th was another German holiday, no work and no stores open.  Our church had a activity to go see the Hardenburg Castle about 30 miles west of Mannheim.  This is a pretty big unrestored castle and a town that has a lot of health restoring/restful places for people to come to that have health issues that they want cured.
We first went to the town and park.  This is the group watching Christina walk across the stream.

The Open Air Saline building
In this town they say if you go to this building and sit in front of it to breath the air, your lung problems will be cured.
Sign reads approximately:
Spring water from the spa gardens in Masquelle with 3% salt content more graded by constantly trickling over the huge stack of wood branches with concentrated brine water through evaporation occurs at the time at about 11.6% makes Marine air inland suited for respiratory diseases.

The park had a great playground, this was the suspension bridge in the kids playground.

Christina's visit to Luisen Park
The other part of the same day that we went to Kafertal Forest we spent in Luisen Park.  She missed the tulips, they only lasted a week or so due to the heavy rains a few days before, but she saw a some of the park at least.
