CHURCH CHRISTMAS PARTY
On Dec. 7, 2013 our church had a Christmas Party.  All the Americans were suppose to sing the "12 Days of Christmas".   We had enough people to do it and we did OK.  Would have even better if more people would have been able or wanted to add to the singing but , Oh well, we did it.  I made some cards to hold up as the days were sang.  The decorations for the culture hall was wonderful.  There was a story read to the kids while it was enacted on the stage, all very well done.  There was an opera singer who sang a few songs that was professional I am sure, it was amazing to hear her talent.  Santa gave gifts to all the kids.  The food was wonderful.  The Bishop also had a new set of paintings put up in the church.
My book light and a glass coffee table works as a temporary light table.  To make identical birds for the cards.

The 12 cards I made for the song.

The pear tree and trying to get organized.

Lighting decorations in the culture hall where really wonderful.

The story read to the kids was about a hunter who invited the forest creatures into his cabin one night when it was really cold.  Shows how all God's creatures can live together peacefully.  The bunny rabbit, the fox, the bear, and people.

This was the BEAR.

Elvira who read the story, Santa in the background handing gifts to the kids.

The missionaries got gifts from Santa too.

Sox for the women.

Cars for the guys.

Baby Ivy enjoys the plastic cup.

MAKING CHRISTMAS WREATHS AND ADVENT TABLE SETTINGS
Each year the Relief Society for the church has an activity night where we make Christmas wreaths or table advent settings.  We just be creative and put them together and get to take one home that we make, all the supplies are there and we have so many choices.  It is fun to be together and see all the wonderful results.
