We enjoyed the Mannheim Weihnachtsmarkt at night this week. The Germans have lovely Christmas markets and they light up the downtown area very nicely. It is a bit difficult to capture night shots but I tried. It is always better in real life.

Germans have wonderful Chocolate stores. This one has a light chocolate fountain in the back of this picture that looks like a castle and really large chocolate Santas. |

My daughter loves Macarons and Marzipan. I would send some to her in the states if I thought they would arrive in one piece but I think they would not be good after being in the mail. |

The Parada Platz also has food vendors and Christmas scenes for kids all around it. The fountain has blue lights on it this year, very pretty. |
I love the pictures of the Christmas markets! I do so miss that. There's nothing even remotely similar here.
