KIDS DAY AT LUISEN PARK
Every year at Luisenpark, there is a kids day, where there are free activities for kids.  All around the park people set up fun things for them to do.  There may be go-karts, arts, boy scouts displays demonstrations, food booths, music, you name it.  Our church had a tent that had "How do make woven string key chains", "making your own buttons", "Face painting" and "Balloon characters".  The missionaries were there to help with all the set up and activities.  There was a really good turnout and the church area was full of kids the whole time.  Of course Luisenpark is fun to go to at any time of the year but this activity was a real treat for everyone to be a part of.

FRANKFURT TRAIN STATION, STOFFE MARKT, CAT GRASS, PUZZLE
This is the Stoffe (Fabric) market.  It is an outdoor market.  They have it in Mannheim about 3 times a year.  Great Prices and so much fun to see all the fabric and to feel it.  You just can't buy fabric on the internet because you can't feel it.  My good friend Friederun went with me.
I found out the cats love to eat Ginger.  I was watching a Ginger plant for friends while they where on a trip and each day I'd find another leaf eaten.  So I put that plant in a safe place and started growing CAT GRASS.  They don't eat it as much as the ginger so I should grow some of that for them.  I thought it was pretty and strange that the water droplets formed on the very top of these seedlings.

We like doing puzzles at night to wind down and we are tired of listening to German TV.  This puzzle was a challenge because the box shown on the left here contained the puzzle on the right!  So we had no idea what the puzzle was before we put it together.  It was a bargain at the second hand store for .50 cents.
This is the Frankfurt train station.  Pretty nice, inclosed in a big bubble like structure.
This is our ICE train arriving to take us bake to Mannheim.  They are very nice and go very fast.  It takes about 45 minutes to go from Frankfurt to Mannheim.

A FEW MORE PROJECTS - Apron, gloves, dolls
I made this apron a week or so ago.
I like the print on this, aprons for an apron
the flat
Front
The back.
I didn't have much fabric so I had to do the straps and back of bib with other fabric.
My bike glove has seen better days.  I decide it is time to mend it.  I like this pair of gloves better than a couple of other pairs I have because the padding is better so I thought is was worth the effort.  It turned out pretty good and comfortable.

I bought 7 dolls at the second hand store the other day.  They all have bisque heads and hands and are in pretty good shape.  I suspect they had belonged to someone who collected dolls and then passed away so the family donated them.  I think I will make some new clothes for them and give them away to kids when a birthday comes up.
I bought these for a total of 21 Euros.

This is my favorite one.
She has a brown bisque head and hands and it is such a nice color.

I like her expression too, very pleasant.
She looks really old.

A boy doll

This is a boy doll too.
He looks really old with mohair hair.

I wonder what I should try to make for them?
