BIKE RIDE TO HERMANNSHOF GARDEN IN WEINHEIM AGAIN
We had another nice day without clouds and rain so I had to get out and ride. I rode out to Weinheim and to the Hermannshof Garden again because I knew the Wisteria vine should bloom about now and it WAS BEAUTIFUL. I took a couple more pictures of the Sequoia tree. On the ride back, I was able to fill up my glass bottle of fresh milk from the dairy in Waidsee.
Here is the link from the previous week. Each week the flowers are different in bloom.
Here is the link from last years post when I went to the garden.
Here is a link to some more info on the garden.
These first few photos are just in my back yard past the lakes. The rapeseed fields are in full bloom. I love the brilliant yellow colors of the fields. Our apartment buildings are in the background. I am so grateful I am able to see this and live in this beautiful place for a short time.
I really love the look of Wisteria in bloom. We had a big one in Solana Beach and I loved seeing it in bloom. We see Wisteria all over in this part of Germany and it is so pretty this time of year. The vines at Hermannshof must be very old. The trunks are really thick and twisted.
