SEWING AND MENDING
I finally got caught up on my back log of sewing for customers today.  I mended two pair of jeans that had holes in the seat, finished up a silk dress made from fabric a friend had for while and wanted a dress from it for church, mended a sweater that had holes in the elbows and fixed an apron that I made a long time ago but had designed the neck to be too wide.
Dress front, silk.
Dress back, invisible zipper, back slit, fully lined.

Dress inside showing lining.
Dress in 3D.
I emailed the customer his choices for leather patch colors.  I'm glad he selected the darker grey one because I think it matched the best.

The elbows where worn thin and had a hole.  Even tho I was going to add leather patches, I thought I should repair the hole too.
I don't know how to knit or how to darn but I managed to fill in the hole pretty well.
Here are the elbow patches.
I hope the customer will get many more years of use from one of his favorite sweaters.
