The Germany Apartment
As part of the planning efforts to move to Germany, Steve went there and found us a very nice apartment.  He had the help of a friend in his office to take him around and talk to the owners.  He found us the perfect apartment in Vogelstang.  Close to the tram and close to a grocery store and was next to some wonderful small man made lakes.  Our apartment was on the top floor of a 12 story apartment building.  Well actually the top floor is a laundry drying room but we were on the floor underneath that.  There was 1 elevator that didn't always work.  The views were spectacular and I just loved the apartment.  When Steve first saw the apartment, it had carpet throughout.  I said we needed hardwood floors.  The owners took out the carpet and put in engineered hardwood floors for us.

  1. Your apartment looks SO NICE! I love the closet gaget for clothes. So efficient! Also, I am surprised to see the cats apparently so comfortable and lounging around instead of hiding somewhere! I hope they enjoy the new environment with no dogs, no other housemates... fuzzy couch to shed on. :)
