BIKE RIDE - Käfertal Wald
Steve and I chose to ride through the forest on Saturday afternoon because the winds might be a little high and the trees buffer that and it is a pretty ride.  We enjoyed seeing the beautiful forest and even on a very pretty day like this, we didn't see very many people.
These are Foxgloves or Digitalis.  We saw these blooming in several places in the forest today.
These are very tall plants up to 255 centimeters (~100.3 inches).
The drug digoxin comes from this plant used for helping cardiac patients, but is considered poisonous so don't try it yourself for treatments.

Enjoying the forest views.

A typical path through the forest.

Site of a 400 year of hunting lodge that isn't there anymore.
Sure wish all the deer shown in the photo board still lived wild here.
