TRIP TO ITALY -  FOOD and Train ride back to Mannheim
May 23rd to the 27th,  trip to Genoa Italy. 
On the fourth day we returned by train back to Mannheim.  It was a really great weekend trip.  Some of the best experiences involved food so here is a little of what we had the pleasure of consuming.
At the restaurant at the top of the funicular.  Fresh noodles and pesto.

My second salad at SOHO restaurant since the first one came with shrimp and I ordered salmon.  So we got to eat both salads.

This was SO wonderful.  

Chocolate cake with fresh made vanilla gelato.

Fresh lemon sorbet.


Steve ordered octopus, YIKES,  but he liked it.


Pesto lasagna, walnut sauce ravioli, traditional lasagna - all with fresh made noodles, YUM!
